Driveway & Double Patio Installation In Stamford, Lincolnshire

Project Information

This 316m2 project involved us supplying and laying the block paving on an existing excavated and sub-based driveway and patio installation in Stamford, Lincolnshire as well as providing good surface water drainage. It was completed on 20th November 2019 and took us approximately 7 days in total to complete

Customers Needs

The customers already had the driveway and patio area excavated and sub-based and needed us to supply and lay the block paving as well as good surface water drainage so the driveway & patio could become usable and give them a smooth surface the drive & walk on.

Installing The Driveway

We laid the driveway in a 90-degree herringbone design, using grey as the main colour and charcoal as the border colour while also installing 5 recessed manholes around the property, and aco channels at the front as surface water was running towards the road.

Installing Kerb Edgings Either Side Of Driveway

As part of the project the customer wanted us to install 34 linear metres of keyberbs either side of the driveway to stop soil from falling onto the block paving. We also provided the customers with a flower bed at the front of the house near the gate.

Installing First Patio Area

We then laid the patio using modern looking savanna pennant grey blocks, these blocks come in 3 different sizes and are laid in a random stretcher bond design, we then used large savanna pennant grey blocks as the border and granite chippings around the edge of the house for surface water drainage.

Installing Second Patio Area

We then laid a second patio area further up the garden using the same savanna pennant grey blocks which come in 3 different sizes and are laid in a random stretcher design, we then used large savanna pennant grey blocks as the border and spread granite chippings either side on top of the already installed membrane.

Finshed Product

This previous hardcored area has now been turned into an improved driveway area which can be used to park on and we have also given the property two much more usable patio areas which compliment the modern style of the house.
All this while being backed up by our 10-year guarantee which will last until November 2029.
