This 350m2 commercial parking area project in Deeping St James, Lincolnshire was completed on the 8th January 2019 and took us approximately 5 days to excavate and block pave.
The Business’s Needs
The business wanted to create parking spaces at the side of at their depot in Deeping St James, Lincolnshire by replacing the unused grass and soil area going down one side of the tarmac roadway with a durable block paving product which could withstand the weight of larger vehicles over time.
Block Colour & Design
The business wanted a durable block which could withstand a lot of weight over time, so we used 80mm blocks which are thicker than the standard 60mm blocks and laid the parking area in a 90 degree herringbone design, using charcoal as the main colour with a matching border, and buff blocks as parking space markers.
Parking Bays & Working Around Trees
As part of the project the business wanted to keep the 2 larger trees in the middle of the parking area and we also we provided the business with many good-sized parking bays using a contrasting buff block to break the lines, while merging the block paving in with the newly laid tarmac roadway.
The Finished Product
As a result we have taken a previously unused part of the land and created good sized parking spaces for the business and its clients which can stand the weight of heavy vehicles over time due to the thickness of block used.
All the work you see here is guaranteed for 10 years until January 2029.
