Orton Waterville, Peterborough Driveway Project

Project Information

The driveway project in Orton Waterville was completed on the 8th November 2017 and took us 2 days to excavate and 2½ days to block. The total size of this project was 102m2 and involved us excavating and blocking the front and side entrance to the house.

The Customers Needs

The customer wanted to increase the parking space at the front of the house by replacing part of the front garden and the concrete area with an all in one block paving installation which would be a lot better on the eye. They also wanted to create an improved matching entrance for the house by incorporating the same block paving down the side of the property.

More Eye Catching Product

The concrete was ageing and was starting to become an eyesore so we replaced this surface by excavating the area and replacing with great looking Savanna pennant grey block paving laid in a random stretcher bond design with a single charcoal border. We also addressed some previous drainage issues and installed 2 recessed manholes which blended in with the driveway.

Finished Product

As you can see the driveway has gone from a thin, straight area of concrete with a large front garden and has been turned into a larger area which can now park more cars while keeping part of the front garden.
